Alejandro Rodriguez
Alejandro is a Juilliard-trained theater artist, communications expert and founder of Alejo Communication. With over a decade leading programs for corporate clients, he has led trainings on five continents, across a broad range of industries including Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Media, Technology, Health Care and Academia. He’s designed and delivered development programs that have rolled out globally across thousands of team members, on everything from Delivering Difficult News to Being an Inclusive Leader in a Hybrid World. His style is a combination of the clarity & rigor he’s sharpened in the business world, combined with the humor, empathy and creativity he’s developed over years in the arts and non-profit sectors. The son of two Cuban immigrants, he was born and raised in Miami and now considers New York City a second home.
Melle Powers
Melle is a Certified Diversity Professional who holds an MFA from NYU. She began her career in Human Capital Development as the Assistant to the Director of Human Resources at American Express, Tax and Business Services. She now delivers and designs programs in Diversity and Inclusion as well as Interpersonal Communication as the founder of Powerful Communications. Melle has led training sessions at Cisco, Estee Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, Abercrombie & Fitch, British Petroleum, and more. She also has extensive experience working with educators to facilitate programs on race and culture for the ADL and the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (among others).
Peter Mir
Peter Mir is the CEO and owner of Villain Theater, the largest improv training center in the state of Florida. Born and raised in Miami, Peter began performing improv in 2003 as part of the group Impromedy. After graduating from Florida International University with a BA in Theater Arts, he moved to New York’s East Village and worked with iconic Spanish theaters Teatro Circulo and Teatro IATI. He’s now accumulated over 20 years of professional theatrical experience. In addition, Peter has facilitated workshops for over 50 companies, including; Apple Inc., Louis Vuitton, Moet Chandon/Hennesey, GoodYear Tires, Walmart, and the University of Miami.
Maria Corina Ramirez
Multi-hyphenate artist Maria Corina Ramirez earned her B.F.A. in Theatre from New World School of the Arts. Her original screenplay, One Day, was a 2022 top ten finalist for the Tribeca Film Festival Untold Stories grant. In 2021, her debut feature film, Bridges, was an official selection at the 25th UrbanWorld Film Festival, the 38th Miami International Film Festival, and the 20th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival. Prior, she starred in and co-wrote Complex’s first-ever scripted series, Grown, which was a co-production with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Pearl Street Films, and an HBO Project Greenlight winner. Ramirez has been invited to speak at UC Santa Barbara, NBC-Universal, Miami-Dade College, NALIP, Nosotros, Miami Film Festival, Women in Film (NYC), and many more.
Jonathan Hermida
Jonathan Hermida is a bilingual (Spanish/English) ICF-Certified Leadership Coach (PCC) and three time founder. As a coach, Jonathan has worked with leaders and professionals from top companies like Facebook, PayPal, BCG, and Pinterest, accumulating more than 2,000 hours of group and individual coaching sessions over the past decade. As a trainer and facilitator, Jonathan has designed and led hundreds of leadership training programs covering key areas such as interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. Jonathan brings a depth of presence, knowledge, and experience to deliver world-class, transformative experiences to all his clients around the world.
